I am an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at UC Berkeley, where I also serve as the graduate advisor for the Designated Emphasis in Renaissance and Early Modern Studies (REMS). I am also affiliated with the Berkeley Center for the Study of Religion
I am co-editor (with Andrea Sangiacomo) of the Journal of Spinoza Studies
